Feeling the need to change
Feeling the need to change
At first, the idea of making a change feels exciting. Then we get scared. What if we fail? How would you go about achieving this goal? For some, the dream dies. For others, not taking action becomes too much. So they take a small step. Small or not, a step in the right direction is always a good one. You also can be someone who takes action. So today, say it for success... I'm taking action.
High Five: Five tips for making it happen
Get Clear
What are you trying to accomplish? What's the dream? You don't need all the answers right away. But when seeking help, let others know if you're exploring options or if you know exactly what you want.
Review the Blueprint
Find out who has succeeded at what you're trying to accomplish. Learn all you can about that person. As they say, success leaves clues.
Get Selective
You don't have to tell everyone what you're aiming to do. Share with those who will hold you accountable but encourage you as well.
Find the others
Join a group or an association related to what you're taking steps towards. You'll learn from and hopefully be inspired by each other.
Know your WHY
Know why you're taking action towards this goal. Likely, you'll experience both excitement but also fear. Knowing your WHY helps you to keep going. (Bonus: If having lots of money is your WHY, go deeper. What will this money allow for you to do?)
